North Taranaki Home Educators (NTHE) helped out our Urenui little blues the week before Conservation Week in cleaning up around their habitat!
While the weather wasn’t particularly spectacular (a few drizzles here and there) it was a great day of learning just how easy it can be for litter to block off penguin homes or get wrapped around wildlife.
The kids were each rewarded with Keep New Zealand Beautiful badges which they wore proudly and with the understanding that being a tidy kiwi means taking responsibility and protecting our environment and its wildlife.
GJ’s Clean up Week 2018 was September 10th – 16th…
